To Recover Permanently Deleted Files on #Windows7:

Method 1. Use Previous Versions feature on Windows 7
The Previous Versions feature of System Restore in Windows 7 can recover data in the event that a file is inadvertently deleted or becomes corrupted. For example, to recover folder that was deleted from your desktop, follow these steps:
Step 1. Open your profile folder from the Start Menu.
Step 2. There is a Desktop folder. Right-click on this folder and select the Restore Previous Versions option.
Step 3. You can view historical snapshots of your desktop contents.

Method 2. Data Recovery Software for Windows
How to recover deleted files in Windows 7 without backup? I’m going to show you how to recover files using Disk Drill tool.
Step 1. Download and install Disk Drill.
Tip: If you are attempting to restore data from your system’s main hard drive, I strongly recommend using a USB drive for this procedure. This will minimize the chances that you overwrite a file before you get a chance to bring it back.
Step 2. Launch the app and select your disk for recovery from the list provided by the application.
Step 3. Choose the scanning mode to be used for the recovery. A Quick scan may be sufficient for restoring your data and should usually be tried first. If a quick scan is unsuccessful, Disk Drill’s deep scanning capability can be used for a more complete data recovery. Deep scanning interrogates your drive on a sector-by-sector basis to reconstruct and restore deleted files and file fragments.
Step 4. Preview the scan results and select the files that you want to recover. With Disk Drill you can recovery 500MB for free.
Step 5. Select a safe location to store the recovered data and then perform the recovery of your selected files to their new storage locations.

  • About 3 years ago I decided to buy a windows 10 computer so I retired the windows 7 computer into the closet and even though it was slow I always missed it. So last month I connected up the old 7 and decided to see if I could make the old 7 faster so I went into Programs uninstall system and deleted by mistake the microsoft Outlook express mail 2007 and lost years of good emails and I also couldn't get on the internet anymore. So I took the windows 7 computer to Best Buy computer store and was told that they couldn't get it on the internet because there is no windows support for the windows 7 anymore but they charged me to put anything it had in it on a flash drive but when i got home the flash drive had no emails to see. Can this disk drill restore Outlook email?

  • I know this video is a year old but I hope you can help me! I've been crying for the last 2 hours and feel like I'm going to be sick. I was trying to change computers and I did a CUT and paste of all my documents to a thumb drive. When it was done and said it was complete it had only moved a few files. About 100 files out of 3,000 to be exact and since I cut there's nothing left in the original My Documents folder on the c: drive. This has so much information I need to get back including college papers and homework there's just so much I need to recover. I went by your directions on the thumb drive and it did not find them. I know I should have done a copy and paste but for some stupid reason I did cut and paste. I have called The geek squad and they've done everything they can. I tried to do a system recovery but for some reason a prior date is not in there to choose from. What do you suggest now?
