When I launch Microsoft Edge internet browser, this is what I get, it fails along the way to open. So I can’t browse, I cannot visit any website on the internet. I can choose to use other browsers but I also think it’s wise to learn how to fix this issue with the Microsoft edge.
So here is the easiest and successful path to fix the issue. My name is Faustin and welcome to this channel of learning together.
Step #1
Go to start menu and search for Microsoft Edge or just type the word Edge. Take your mouse cursor on the app and right click then select App settings with the left click of your mouse.
You can also achieve to this settings window by searching for Apps and Features in the start menu, and then scroll down to find Microsoft Edge, click on it and select advanced options which take you to the same window.
Step #2
Scroll down to reset options. There are two. Let’s begin with the first the one by clicking on “Repair”, If this app isn’t working right, we can try to repair it. The app’s data won’t be affected with this option, that’s the message from the designer of Microsoft Edge.
After it finishes the repairing, let’s check if the issue is solved. Uuuu nooo! The issue is not yet solved. So we go back to our app settings and then we select the second option, by clicking on “Reset” button. Keep in mind that with this option, you will lose some previous information of you browsed in the past.
So the rest is done, let’s go back and check if the issue is solved. Whaoo! The issue has been fixed but of course we lost some data but this is okay for us and we can browse to any website on the internet.
