  • I get grub error as the C drive was deleted and Ubuntu now i trued to install the recovery discs of Win 7 but after it finishes the system boots to Grub only.i Reyes the ls command but no joy as I cannot get into the cam and prompt -only Grub.

  • hi. when i try bootsect /nt60 all, it says bootcode was successfully updated on at least one volume. it only updates on c:
    but it says could not open the volume root directory: the parameter is incorrect. when it updates on d: (system reserve)

  • Do not have a windows CD … what to do? Would a foreign Windows 7 CD, even a Chinese work too?
    How aBOUT THOSE RECOVERY PARTITIONS? Or other recovery features build in in win7 ? Can they not do the same?

  • You know that nowadays pc came with a hidden partition for recorevy but when you upgrade or install a diferente os the mbr changes and you canot use the recovery anymore, how could this be fixed? Thanks.

  • When i restart i get hardware/ software changed from an unknown source and its asking me repair with disc or press F8 for advanced boot options (this screen won't pop up) – To temporarily disable driver signature enforcement. How can i DISABLE DRIVER SIGNATURE ENFORCEMENT???

  • I removed a virus that infected the MBR. The laptop seems to have System Recovery Options preinstalled. Is it safe to carry on the same steps as in your video without the installation dvd since system recovery options is preinstalled?Or would it be safer to use a reinstallation dvd that came with the laptop?
