But why are folks still recommending Putty in 2024 when Windows 11 comes with a good Terminal app, and you can simply use PowerShell as well? On Windows 10 I just simply used Git for Windows, and it worked just fine. Putty has recently had some security issues and I don't think it is a good idea to keep recommending it.
