How to set a default gateway for your Cisco Switch or Router || CCNA default gateway setting Cisco

In this video I show you how to set a default gateway on a Cisco switch, this also works for setting the default gateway on routers

*Steps*

enable
conf t
ip default-gateway (default gateway)

Common default gateway is 192.168.1.1

  • For some reason it’s not even showing up in the config when I run this command. What could be the reason?
