  • Thank you so much!!! That's what I looking for

  • Lestcape/Global-AppMenu/ has no longer work on Cinnamon. How i can get older version of the applet like your?. Or, could you kindly share with me the applet on this video. Sorry for my bad english.

  • Can't believe I paused the video and spent 10 minutes trying to clean a mark off my laptop screen and then I resume the video and realise the mark is actually on the video :O The mark appears at in panel edit mode at 1:24 and 4:14

  • I had this Global Menu for a while now! It seems to cause LibreOffice to become very slow
But maybe that's just my machine….

  • Great video quids! The only other thing one would want here, would be a way to implement the HUD from unity.

  • Perhaps the 2 people that like Unity will enjoy this video! 🙂

  • I also like how Unity looks, but Unity itself is the worst implementation there is of that looks. I love how Cinnamon can now accept vertical panels, but wasn't it better to use a dock on the left instead?

  • Nice video Q. I'm sure many will find this helpful to get that Unity feel on Mint. I happen to dislike the feel of Unity, which is partly what drove me from Ubuntu to Linux Mint. Mint's take on Ubuntu just feels right for me, with either Mate or Cinnamon. Haven't had any issues and it runs very smooth.

  • I have been using cinnamon for a while, but I switched to MATE recently because moving windows seem slow on cinnamon.

  • Why even install mint? IIRC their security practices are less than desirable
