This is Redfeather from Grep Haxs in this video we will be showing you how to
take a Linux screen shot in Ubuntu 16 . 04
there are two ways you can take a screen shot the first is you can press the print screen
button this just will give you a quick snap shot of your screen
the second way is to go to terminal and start typing screen shot until you see the camera
icon for Linux and click on the camera icon
notice the options you have this is the gnome screen-shot for Linux
when using the area grab once you draw your square and then release the picture will be taken
after the picture is taken save it to the proper directory and click save in Ubuntu Linux
notice the grab after delay function this controls the amount of time before the GNOME screen-shot takes the shot
I found two seconds to be adequate for this example you probably noticed I am duel screening
for some reason GNOME screen shot captures both screens in Ubuntu
notice you can include the window border or not and you can also use some minor effects
and include your mouse pointer if you would like
