Why is it better to have a tool like firewall-cmd than just using iptables and maybe write a little bash script for it? I am not a CentOS user though.
Hey there!
Could you help me? I created a CentOS 7 server just as you described but when i connect my notebook to the second NIC the internet doesnt work….
beautiful
So…good tutorial.but if you add VMware-machine network-connecttion setting about CentOS7/Desktop into video(such as host only or LAN segment),then it will be good for more
firewall-cmd –complete reload
And the below command is not working…
what is the difference between NAT and SNAT?
How does it work on old pc setup as router or access point?
Thank you, nice tutorial, you could of used some systax complete to speed up the process instead of typing everything by hand. but it was nice
It works if I select NAT in VMware workstation and doesn't work if I select "Host Only"
