    I have windows 10 home edition. I have successfully removed Cortana completely off my admin account. It was completely removed using PowerShell. Everything is gone with no trace of Cortana left which is perfect! But my local user account still has Cortana and is listed as "disabled". It still comes up in all this menus, startup, apps, ect… I cannot figure out how to completely remove Cortana from the local account just like it was removed from the admin account. I've tried using PowerShell and registry but they only "disable" Cortana on the local account. PLEASE offer a solution. Again I'm happy to donate I just want to get this resolved and start sleeping again 😴

  • My cortana button disappeared, even from settings. It is like Windows doesn't know what Cortana is. If I download it from the store, she says: "Thank you for your interest" when I open her but she does nothing anymore.

  • 0:34 yeah mine doesn't even have the option of Cortana here. I've tried everything (I think) and nothings can fix my Cortana from searching. I press the Cortana button, nothing happens. I say hey Cortana with it enabled in settings, nothing happens. Agh!
