How To Use Nightlife in LMMS or On A Linux Ubuntu Machine
Go to this link to get started https://acoustica.com/mixcraft/extras/nightlife Once you have arrived at the website scroll down and click get it now.
If you do not have an account, you will be required to create an account.
If you do have an account, sign in.
Once you have arrived at the customer portal click products
click view product information beside nightlife than click download nightlife to get the .exe file
Navigate to the ubuntu software center by clicking all apps at the bottom left of the screen and typing in ubuntu software center
search for wine in the ubuntu software center
be sure you click and install the one with an icon that resembles a glass of red wine
Open the terminal by clicking all apps at the bottom left of the screen again and typing in terminal
Enter the bash command winecfg
change windows version to Windows 7 than click ok
The next steps require the path to the Nightlife-Installer.exe
I saved mine to the downloads
once you have found yours go back to the terminal window navigate to the folder and enter wine Nightlife-Installer.exe
the installer will now open I recommend leaving the default location
open files go to Home/Username/ than hit control and h
this will show hidden files
scroll down and open the .wine folder
go to drive_c/Program Files/VST/ and copy and paste the Nightlife folder onto a nonhidden location on your Linux machine
open Linux Multimedia Studio or LMMS
open vestige, click open other VST-plugin in vestige navigate to where you placed the Nightlife.dll file and open it
