Windows Defender is better than any anti virus Software.
Why would i need an antivirus? Everything is turned off for me…
windows defender is actually pretty great, i just do wish we had more advanced features that makes it a lot more versatile
i used cracked windows. windows defender was bad.idk if it was the cracking software or it was intentional design. once I got paid windows like actual windows 10 pro license, windows defender just became more efficient

I tried scanning my computer for viruses with defender and it only got one of them and then i did it with malwarebytes and it got 22 of them, windows defender may help detect a virus but other antivirus are better and they actually get rid of all the viruses.

Nah, it let everything else in and then when you try to use a legitimate program it deletes it.
Windows IS the virus. When you scan for virusses in Linux over the network it will pick up microsoft products as virusses 😂
But when i try to download a bitcoin miner it doesn't let me

I watched people run tests before deciding not to buy an antivirus. While it's true that companies which specialises in antivirus does a better job at detecting and stopping viruses, while it's also true that some of them are lighter than windows defender, it's very untrue that windows defender is useless.
While these paid antiviruses catches 98%99% of the viruses, windows defender was able to catch like 85%, when it has an active internet connection.
That is not bad considering it's free. Will prefer windows defender than paid stuff. But sure if you want to be very careful, but kasperesky, it was the most effective one, imo, based on the tests I saw performed.
My Windows defender warned me about a trojan. I ignored it and ended up with one.
