  • Harmony operating system from Huawei is getting stronger every day challenging goggle with 700 million users worldwide. Huawei has already declared incompatibility with Android, a strategy to strengthen Harmony OS. This move will weaken Android and forces it to consolidate as it faces an existential challenge in the near future. The American dominated operating system is now challenged by the surging Huawei as it becomes the world no 1 in 5G and 6G communication technology. In desperation the usa has recently abolished the international patent protection law for Chinese companies such as Huawei, allowing American companies to steal and copy Huawei’s 30000 patents in 5G and 6G technology. The usa has proven once again to be a thief and a robber in broad day light.

  • any new tech platform that is outside of U$ jurisdiction is a great selling point.

  • I never buy Huawei. data security is a big challenge.

  • Android Os has the most number of users in China. But US pulled the plug to contain China's rise. Now China create its own independent os call "Harmony Next" with zero android codes inside. Next year 2024, its all made in China with Chinese technologies

  • US and Google have failed to suppress Huawei. China Huawei has successfully established it own operating system. No hindrances and other obstacles can stop China and Huawei from further progress. Google system can spy on the users whereas
Huawei operating system is free of spyware.

  • In 2019, Google stopped licensing Android to Huawei to comply with American "security" sanctions. That was a wake-up call to Huawei that their phones needed to be 100% domestic to avoid future sanctions, and they got serious about working with other Chinese OEMs and MNCs with Chinese production to secure a full range of phone components. The culmination of this is the sanction-proof Mate 60 that doesn't import a single component (the SK Hynix memory is produced in Wuxi). Huawei couldn't find a suitable OS off the shelf, so they developed their own while forking Android as a bridge. Now that HarmonyOS works well enough, Huawei is removing the Android bridge and Google components. Expect to see this as the first of many "sanction proof" domestic Chinese solutions that replace Western technology. More significantly, these Chinese systems will cut the licensing revenue streams that Google, etc. depend on.

  • Competition is good – generally leads to more innovation, and gives the consumer choices. Congratulations to Huawei breaking free of US restrictions on its business.
