  • It’s a shame I’ve been looking at my class work forever and not understanding subnetting, and by the first explanation you gave I understood it. And now I’m excited about it and like it. You are very talented at what you do are a skillful teacher.

  • This way of promotions are far much better than advertisements after now and then in between a good quality learning and understanding. Kuddos to the quality of content

  • 11:36

    101011000.00010000.00100010.00000011

Edit: I must be dyslexic, added extra 0 to first octet.

  • Mr best tshirt? 😛 just see this now

  • To understand binary more you can think of it like this. In decimal, you take all the numbers you have and you go: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and then there's no sign for ten so you just add 1 and go from the start 10 11 12 13 14 … 19 and there, no more numbers so you make the number on the left bigger by 1 and start from zero. 20. In binary, it's the same, you go 0, 1 and there's no sign for two so you add 1 to the left and go from the start 10 you go 11 and there are no more numbers left so you add 1 to the left, there are also no other numbers so you add 1 and you have 100 and then you go 101 110 111, 1001 and so on

  • actually why each 0 to 255 is called octate because the code of 8bit answered at 0:19

  • get a coffee warmer coaster, maybe there are some that can have IP adresses

  • 9 bits make 1 byte, 1 is kept back for backdoor programming…
You are hacking man.. you already know the answers!! 8D
Cool video…. better than binary clocks

  • Learnt this in high school and didn't pay attention and now learning it again after 7 years

  • Question. How can an IP with the first octet of 199 have a CIDR of /14? I thought Class C IP's first Octet is over 192 with CIDR starting at /24

  • i'm learning with your wideos and than you wash yourselft and then my husban walks in… i wondering if he thouthg: "she supose to learn about number!?"
