  (PS We have to get our vehicles WOF (MOT) every 6months, and they need re-certified by an Engineer if we fit coil-overs or do engine swaps. This then locks you into a certified ride height, wheels size etc…..)

• I bought a mk2 a couple months back and on my drive home I noticed the clutch slipping when applying throttle in high gears. I thought it's clutch and started saving. A mechanic mate helped me rebuilding the carb over the weekend and noticed my clutch cable that the previous owner had replaced right before selling, wasnt fitted properly and the free play wasn't correctly calculated. Once we reinstalled it properly, my clutch issues is a thing of the past. It will still probably need a new one sometime. But not as soon as I thought.
