• I am not a fan of ordinals since i believe that this slows down adoption (due to the increase of fees) in the most needed countries.   Bitcoin "dev" is ALWAYS slow to the rest of the market but it's ALWAYS better because it's slow tracked and tested to death before hitting chain.

• My problem with ordinals is that it seems like a direct attack on the fungable nature of a satoshi. If one satoshi does not equal any other satishi then Bitcoins use case as a currency is broken.

• No, you can NOT flip the argument money vs BTC NFTs!!
  How is that so hard to understand??
  BTC can do money, alts can NOT do money.
  Alts can do alt-uses. Using BTC for alt-use cases put it's use as money at risk!
  Meaning : If you mess up Bitcoin's money use case, you will not have anything that can do money any more!!
  We are already at fee levels of 10USD for a simple transaction and we are not even half way though the bull market!
  It is very obvious what will happen to the fees. They already went from 0.1usd to 10 usd. So they may very well reach hundreds or thousands of usd in this bull market! Especially considering that the same amout of sats for a fee will cost many more in dollar terms as BTC price will rise!
  But that real probelm is that BTC did not scale. At this point it can not be adopted world wide. If every person in the world is able to do just one tx in his lifetime that is hardly sufficent!

• They cannot ban Ordinals… They’ll have to convince miners to give up all the futures fees. Since March $230,000,000 in ordinal minting fees were paid to miners…

• Why would anyone use Bitcoin if it is starting to compete with Solana? I mean if Ordinals is forcing Bitcoin to innovate and adding more functionality then Bitcoin will start to compete with Solana and other smart contracts blockchains. But why would anyone use Bitcoin when it is even worse than Ethereum? Seems really strange putting defi on a chain that is worse than Ethereum with even more technical debt.
