Install Hyper-V on a Windows Server 2012 VM | QuickTip

In this quicktip we will cover how to install the Hyper-V role on a Windows Server 2012 or 2012 R2 virtual machine running on Hyper-V.
This method works only for installing the role and the management tools but it cannot actually enable the hypervisor in the VM. This is because Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2 do not support nested virtualization as either guests or hosts.
