Install Hyper-V on Virtual Machine running windows server 2016 deployed in VMware Workstation 12.5

1. Prepare

– VMware Workstation 15 installed

+ Virtual Machine : DC23 running Windows Server 2016 Datacenter

2. Step by step : Install Hyper-V on DC23

– Run VMware Workstation 15 – choose DC23 tab – Divices – Double-Click Processors – Virtualization engine

– Select “Virtualize Intel VT-x/EPT or AMD-V/RVI” and “Virtualize CPU performance counters”

– Click “Power on this virtual machine” – logon to Windows :

+ Install Hyper-V

+ Deploy a Windows Virtual Machine in Hyper-V 2016

+ Deploy a Windows Server 2008 R2 Sp1
