Hola Christian, estoy tratando de instalar la versión 7.3.1 en debian 9, instale todas las dependencias pero me arroja el siguiente error:
xdg-desktop-menu: file '/usr/share/applications/cisco-pt7.desktop' does not exist xdg-desktop-menu: file '/usr/share/applications/cisco-ptsa7.desktop' does not exist
Alguna idea? ya he buscado por todos lados y no logro hacer que arranque, gracias.

do you know if packet tracer can be installed on ubuntu on rasp pi 4?
Congratulations engineer ! greenting from Peru
Thanks! It is functional in Deepin.
Thanks for the straightforward explanation
Thanks for the video! I do have one question though.
When I went through all of the commands in Terminal and typed in "sudo apt install ./PacketTracer731_mac.dmg", it said "E: Unsupported file ./PacketTracer731_mac.dmg given on commandline". Is there anything I can do to get around that and download the Packet Tracer application?
You are the Man!!! Thanks a ton!
Although, I did get a warning message(pasted below this)it opened up and ran just fine.
N: Download is performed unsandboxed as root as file '/home/timecop/Downloads/PacketTracer_731_amd64.deb' couldn't be accessed by user '_apt'. – pkgAcquire::Run (13: Permission denied)
Thank you my bro)
Simple and easy, thanks for the video!
Thank you for the straightforward explanation, I was having issues installing it through eddy, but the terminal way worked as you show in the video.
Thanks
