Installing and Configuring i3 on Debian/Ubuntu is Easy!

The Android recently became a convert to living in what’s called a Window Manager, which is a keyboard-driven desktop environment. Software like KDE Plasma, GNOME and Cinnamon are all point-and-click desktop environments, whereas with things like i3, Qtile and Awesome, they are Window Managers (WM), or keyboard-driven desktop environments (though they actually do not have a desktop element).

That said, he teaches people how they can install and customize their installation of i3wm development version for Ubuntu, though some of these instructions are the same for Debian as well. He even shows off a rice he had been working on at the time he recorded the video too.
