Deploying and managing a large OpenStack deployment can be daunting, but much easier when you use standard DevOps automation tools, a Linux-based network, and commodity servers and switches. This session details the design and implementation of an L3 network underlay, routing to the host, and a hardware VXLAN gateway used with an enterprise OpenStack distribution on 300+ OpenStack compute nodes.
