Installing & configuring Internet Download Manager on Linux

IMPORTANT NOTE:
1. IDM extension can only do basic things like forwarding links to IDM from browser, it can’t generate video download link.
2. This exists only because I’ve never felt accustomed to using anything other than IDM
3. For native linux download manager use aria2 , it’s the best IMO
Steps:
1. Setup wine
(on Archlinux)
$ sudo pacman -S wine wine-mono wine_gecko winetricks
$ sudo pacman -S lib32-gnutls
2. Setup IDM
https://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/download.html
3. Install browser extension
(available for firefox and chrome)

4. Setup bridge between extension and OS
