Installing Ubuntu Server from Bootable USB

In this video I quickly demonstrate how to install Ubuntu Server. We create a bootable USB from the Ubuntu ISO using the Rufus tool. Then we simulate booting onto that USB stick and perform the basic installation of Ubuntu Server. No GUI.

  • please keep your audio a bit higher in your video, its difficult to hear without headphones << great content

  • Cheers for the vid. Never used Linux but I’m going to install this and see how I get on. The install looks easy once shown. Thanks

  • Who prefers a GUI on their Linux Servers? What about Windows Server? Personally I think Windows Core is quasi CLI, because technically its still loading a graphical environment.
