Installing Windows 7 on a PC with 512MB of RAM (under minimum system requirements)
In this little experiment I wanted to see if it was possible to install Windows 7 on a PC with less than the minimum 1GB of ram which the Microsoft website specifies. I will be attempting to install Windows 7 on a Dell Dimension 4300 with 512MB of PC133 SD RAM, a Pentium 4 processor running at 1.5GHz, a 80GB hard drive spinning at 5400 RPM, a Nvidia MX440 Graphics adapter, and a 300W Dell power-supply which fails after I go to sleep.
