• You can install into the TPM module connection (having removed that TPM) an ISA slot (since there are ISA expansion cards made in the open source community) and then that can take a USB riser card (or serial or parallel IEEE1284 or NIC, or soundcard with MIDI etc.). Maybe it would have detected that. The TPM is 8 bit.

• of course you can download xp on a gaming pc well, with a few complications..

• I wonder if, let's call it "compatibility card" for modern machines, would sell enough to be profitable to design and build. It would be PCIe card consisting of FPGA translating between older and newer interfaces.

• I think bios has an option for port 60/64 emulation for legacy software.

• That's strange, i have never come across any problems while installing Windows XP from a USB Flash Drive.

• Are there any XP drivers for the Dell PERC H700 RAID controller card? None exist on the Dell website and if I use the LSI drivers for this card Windows XP will destroy my Windows 10 installation on drives attached to this card.
