Type of DNS Record & Use Cases
A= domain name to IPv4 address = (servergyan.com — 32.23.21.22)
AAAA= domain name to IPv6 address (servergyan.com –2001:defa:0001)
CNAME= Points domain to Another Domain
NS= Name Server
SOA= Start of Authority
MX= Specifies Mail Servers
TXT= Used to Specify Email Senders and Application Specific Values
PTR= Points IP to Domain Name
SRV= Application Specific Values that identify Servers
SPF= Sender Policy Framework
NAPRT= Name Authority Pointer
CAA= Restricts CAs that can generate SSL/TLS Certificates for domain
