Went from the 13PM to the 14PM only for the colour. But now on the iPhone 15PM I can say it’s the best iPhone I’ve ever owned and better for my needs versus the Samsung Galaxy 23 Ultra I used to try Android.
Go blue
I fluctuate between Galaxy Ultra, Pixel Pro and Pro Max……..I always end up back with IPhone. There is just something slightly more premium and the integration with the watch Ultra (best Apple product ever) buds pro and Apple TV is awesome. But I really want them to start to innovate again, ai, call screening, etc etc more customisation. If they step it up they will be so far ahead of the rest it’ll be game over!
Most people around the world 🌎🌍🌎🌍🌎 who have an iPhone have photos dating back as far as the year 2023 ONLY
from Xs max to 15 pro max .
I cant wait for my new iphone 20 pro max 😅
i used to live in Savannah Georgia
I upgraded from the 13 Pro Max to the 15 Pro Max last week. I'm like you; I thought the 13 Pro Max was and still is the best phone Apple has ever made, it's practically faultless and I don't remember a generation of iPhone have such little controversy or problems. The tech nerd in me still didn't need much temptation to go for the 15 Pro Max, but I don't think this phone is any "better" than what I've upgraded from. It's no worse either in the grand scheme of things, but for a device that's two years newer, that's not a complement.
In my opinion, the Titanium design is only better from a weight perspective, apart from that I actually prefer the stainless steel matte finish of my 13 Pro Max. Fingerprints didn't bother me, and I can't help but now worry about colour degradation on the 15 Pro Max over time, as has been reported. I'm not a huge photographer, I don't use the always on display, and whilst the action button is nice now I've got used to it, it's not a game changer for me. The USB-C is welcome given my iPad and MacBook use the same port, but given that I only use the port to charge then it's just that for me; a way to charge and nothing more. Battery life was definitely under-par in the first week of using the phone, but now things have calmed down I'd say it's on par with the 13 Pro Max, really good, but again not really a complement considering we're two years down the line.
I do like the dynamic island a lot, but what makes me love the iPhone so much is iOS and the wider Apple ecosystem, which of course I had on my 13 Pro Max with a similar bug-free experience.
Everyone knows now that annual smartphone releases are very minor over the last one, even Apple does. Now, I'd say you have to come from a device that's at least three years old to notice the day-to-day real world improvements. I imagine if I had came from a 12 Pro Max my thoughts would be very different. The 15 Pro Max is a great phone, sure, but in terms of how I use my phone everyday it's absolutely not worth upgrading from the 14 Pro Max or even the 13 Pro Max for the average user.
As I said, I think the real beauty of iPhone is the software and wider ecosystem, which means upgrades year on year are even less noticeable than what they would be from Samsung or Google. The day-to-day experience of using the iPhone is the same now as it has been for years.
Anyone else has issues with trying to send photos through text ?
I upgraded to the 15PM last week and couldn't be happier. This is my first personal iPhone upgrade since the iPhone 4. 🤣 However, used subsequent iPhones for work over the past several years. 🙃
Everyone’s talking about switching to 15 from 13
Meanwhile me with my SE 🙃
Terrible revision to IPhone. Mine keeps overheating and just locked up after two months. Had to take it to Apple Store and have it hard reset. The tech said they see it all the time.
How were you able to get the large blue digital clock to show up on desktop charge?
I can't believe he had the problem 5 days and didn't get the chance to resolve it 2 days through.
What about overheating problem?
Not max but the pro 15 i have. Ollu because of the log footage.. but the photos are insane also
Getting a 15PM soon … have the 13PM with a Pitaka Pro Car Mount which uses MagSafe.
I did a lot of research and landed on a Omoton for my desk / office / home charging and Pitaka for the car. The Pitaka even cools the phone.
This goes back to when I sold Blackberry Pagers, I’ve always loved the functionality of a stand that you just slap your phone or PDA in and interact with it. It’s always charged at 100% when you pick it up and you can use it for simple things like keeping track of the time.
I get the point of the video though… you need to find what works and I still can’t convince other family members to use the MagSafe device in the car so there’s always these cables plugged in.
But to each their own… eventually phones will be portless 🤣
I’m 5 days in with the 15pm coming from a 12 pro and I like it. Haven’t used the camera much yet. But, I was perfectly happy with the 12. Upgrading is always for shits n giggles for me. There was nothing wrong with the 12 pro.
Waiting for the 16PM. (Keeping a close eye on the 'leaks' tho, including the mystery CAPTURE button…) Will be upgrading from 12PM. Skipped the 15 for several reasons; main one being the overheating. Good vid, Dad.
Always picky what we going to do if we happy and nothing to talk about?
I bought 13 pro max after your recommendation and no regret.
I upgraded to the 15PM from the 12PM. I’d been holding off from upgrading in the hope of a ‘ground breaking’ feature or upgrade but with how advanced smart phones are now I don’t think that will ever come!
Very happy with my 15PM and the battery life is absolutely incredible. A huge difference coming from a 3 year old 12PM.
Wasted 11 minutes of my life
I just upgraded to the 15pm from a 12pm and it’s a hugeee upgrade for me. Well mostly because my speakers stopped working a year into owning my 12pm and the back glass was shattered for 2 years and pieces just kept falling out. Time will tell how I like the 15pm but I fell inlove with my 12pm.
What's the commonality among the 14 and 15??? The Island!!! Guarantee that and the always on display is consuming the battery.
Thanks for all the reviews & feedback, taken into account for several purchases. (macbook, ipad, iphone)
I upgraded from a 13 pro to the 15 pro max, impressed by the battery life/ optimisation. chose the 15 mainly because a 13 pro max here in france goes for 150-250€ less, refurbished or new so felt the small price difference was not worth it. For reference my 13 pro 256G sold for 700€ in a market place. apple was offering 610€. thanks again.
Buy an A to C cable from anker
Clemson graduated here 😁
Color in video a problem????? Is a joke??? What kind of lights do you have?? 😅😅😅.. Iphone is the Best Phone in video.. Not in photos.. But still is the king in video..
