• For me it was the USB cable and I wasn't thinking to try a new one, this really helped man I appreciate it.

• I don’t even have a lot of options on iTunes for some reason. In the help tab I don’t have that option showing up. And my library only shows podcasts and does have artists/albums etc. can someone help??

• FYI: iPhone doesn't connect to iTunes in iOS 17.x . Apple broke it. Whether they intended for this to happen — because Music is the currently-supported app — or will fix it in a subsequent update is the $64,000 question. What's more, the Apple software update to the USB/mobile device driver cannot be installed because it is not available on the server, per the error message that is displayed. So if the driver wasn't installed at an earlier point, one is out of luck because Apple no longer offers it (at least under macOS; our mileage may vary if connecting to iTunes and a modern iOS using a PC).

• It says the iTunes update server cannot be contacted. Pls check your Internet connection and try again later. My Internet connection is fine. And iTunes doesn't detect my ipad. waste of time, I'm Uninstalled it now.

• Suppose you have installed 3rd Party app like VLC media player on your iphone and added your personal videos on that app, now if someone steal your iphone and install itunes on their laptop and then plug in your iphone to their laptop installed itunes using the cable, and then click on the iphone symbol on the itunes app, open the phone their, go to the Sharing Apps section, from there go to the VLC media player app and there they can see all your personal videos, drag and drop all your videos from itunes to their laptop harddrive.
