won’t the router change the destination address of a packet which comes from the outside internet for a device having private IP inside its network… since the packet which came actually came containing the IP address of the router instead of that device as destination address?

Which fields are used in header checksum calculation?
43:00 If checksum fails, it may be the case that source IP address field is corrupted and ICMP sends an error message to the incorrect IP address. How is such a scenario handled?
51:00 In the Forouzan it is written that, "source and destination address must remain unchanged during the time the IP datagram travels from the source host to the destination host".
