So with IPv6 addresses there are so many addresses available per person you can put each end device on it's own subnet?

NGL IPv6 is really intimidating to understand, but the capabilities are astounding!!!!!
Am I understanding it correctly that subnets can be nested then, and we can/could have a toplevel subnet, and then a computer/switch/router could subnet further? I imagine this might only be something a very large company could or might do, but… is that a correct understanding?
If IPv6 is subnetting the forth octet, is it going to be /48 instead of /64 given 2600:DDDD:1111 are already prefixed? Or this type of subnetting is used only for IPv4?
Nice! I worked for Comcast for 5 years and at one point we used the ipV6 address to log into the back end of our modems whenever we needed to change anything or verify info . Full circle 😎
