Can you make a stained glass window out of a sun catcher? Well I did.
It was rugged and strong enough to last 1.5 years before I put a 9 foot treated 2×4 through it. My bad. Is that bad luck?
Bad luck or no, it still cost me a new window a day’s work.
However, this also gives me the opportunity to check in with my 1000 year construction plan. Did I make a window that is easily serviceable, but rugged enough for the elements? My break-fix shows that indeed I have a great idea for users to copy, and this will help future generations keep the house well maintained.
