  • It's perfectly fine you nerds. Don't obsess over os, just get the work done

  • I want to know how to install virtual machine on external storage device.

  • Bruh,Kali is complete, why should I install all the stuff every time

  • what is a "better" os for this purpose?

  • So I just started studying for my security+ 601 l, and I was going through a lab in the get certified get ahead book, which had me make a failed login attempt on kali Linux, and then check the auth.log file, however, when I was looking through the log directory, I didn’t see an auth.log file and I couldn’t find any documentation online as to why. Does anybody have some insight?

  • i mean sure "its not good for profesional use "but professionals know what they will use and besides most of the people here do it as a hobby, personally I am doing school projects on it so i dont understand his point

  • Hey chuck, leave these hypocritic people. Some people can't do anything despite of having a machine more powerful, They can just talk like stupid.

  • kali are easy to use and got all the tools i need, some of my friends use parrot but i will stick to kali even tho in 2019 i have a plann to abandon kali but the 2023 update are good.

  • People take kali too seriously.

As a penetration testing suit of tools its fine. Load up a live environment and you're good to go.

Edge lords using it as a daily driver kinda ruined it. As a replacement OS for hackers its garbage.

Personally I prefer rooted smartphones for testing security.

  • Whoever made that comment is just flexing. Is not the arrow it's the Indian.

  • Kali is completely fine. I’ve been a professional pen-tester, red teamer, purple teamer, DFIR, and blue team. It covers a lot of bases and it’s really easy to train new staff and standardize everything. Stop gate-keeping the security field.

  • Learn debian and Arch kiddo u will learn any distro after that

  • Chuck you have made such a difference in my journey into cybersecurity! 1 year left for my bachelor in IT cybersecurity all the labs I’m doing at home! Your videos make my day! Never stop doing for us just joining!!

  • I think that everyone wants the GUI platform. I've only met a handful of professionals that use strictly CLI. But I've noticed the ones that know the CLI front to back and know Vim. Can use any distribution and it's full capacity. But everyone in today's industry wants the GUI platform, and those are the ones who struggle with the functionality of using a Linux OS. you might as well just stick to windows. Lol

  • Yah that's why in mr.robot they use more kali linux then any os

  • the way he talks, I dont even think he knows even "h" in hacking

  • Windows 10 is way better than this shitty indian linux distro named kali soothula pooli lmfoa

  • Hey bro review pinephone pro kali Linux

  • Kali is Debian based and very user friendly once you get a start with terminals. Software compatibility is great for the Debian base. You can also mod or add software.

  • The Linux Community is always so vocal xD. Like a barking Dog that is actually really cuddly when u get know it.
