Java Programming Tutorial | Writing a program | Be Practical Training Institute.
Welcome to our Java Programming Tutorial! 🌟 In this episode we define and implement the rules and criteria for a valid IPv4 address and check if the input strings ip1 and ip2.
🔍 Problem Statement: Write a program to Validate an IPv4 Address.
Input: String ip1 = “222.111.111.111”;
String ip2 = “5555..555”;
1. Split the input string into its four octets using the period (.) as the delimiter.
2. Check if there are exactly four octets.
3. For each octet, ensure that it is a valid integer in the range of 0 to 255.
4. Check for additional constraints, such as the absence of leading zeros or empty octets.
