Joining Linux to active directory running on Server 2019 using packages built into the repository. This was done on a up-to-date fedora server against a Server 2019 AD.

Explain to me like I'm 5: is this assuming you're already like physically connected via ethernet to the network/domain? Like, I want to try to join a Linux Mint machine to our local domain Active Directory. Am I even watching the right kind of video for this? I see in the video he's using Fedora, but IIRC that's Debian based so the commands for installing those realmd or whatever will also work for Mint. sudo apt install
Kali Linux too?
