JSCC's DLT Use Case – Kei Miyazato, Head of IT Innovation, JSCC
Alongside the Linux Foundation’s Open Source Summit (OSS), the Japan Securities Clearing Corporation (JSCC) hosted a “Hyperledger Financial Services Workshop” on the floor of the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE).
In January 2023, the JSCC introduced its first blockchain production solution based upon Hyperledger Besu, one of the open source software platforms hosted by the Hyperledger Foundation, to facilitate the efficient delivery settlement of rubber futures.
While continuing to broaden the functionality of the pilot implementation, and developing other use cases, the Japan Securities Clearing Corporation officially joined the Hyperledger Foundation in October 2023.
