Just #Rent in #Nicaragua for Your Protection | Should You Buy or Only Rent Moving to Central America
Vlog 7 November 2023 | The comment came in to the channel that someone loves the houses here in Nicaragua but they think that they would only ever want to rent and never buy just “in case”. There is logic there, but also Nicaragua is at the record low cost for buying homes. So how should you be looking at this market?

I always want to buy because I have a really difficult time always wanting to renovate the place lol.
Safety, affordability, and healthcare will make people want to jump the gun sometimes. 😂
I think I finally figured out why people from the US always think of buying before renting. It hit me yesterday when I was speaking with a friend. With credit scores, etc I have so many people that can't get home loans, but they have to pay astronomical rent prices. The rents are definitely higher than the typical mortgage payment. Which makes zero sense, but you know the US logic rarely makes sense. Not to mention you cannot do much to change a rental here like you can in Nicaragua. I'm definitely ready to rent first! I finally found a remote job and plan on being in Nicaragua no later than the first of the year!
Amazing conversation here Scott and i love all aspects of your dialog and how balanced it is.
