LADY MUSGRAVE ISLAND | Day trip from 1770 & Agnes Water | Great Barrier Reef, Queensland – Australia

Hi all and welcome to Lady Musgrave Island that lies off the coast of Central Queensland, in Australia. It’s only a short day trip from 1770 or Agnes Waters and a brilliant spot to snorkel the southern part of the Great Barrier Reef, Queensland – Australia and swim with Turtles. This video shows you how to get there from 1770 or Agnes Water, but Cruises/Ferry’s leave from both Bundaberg and 1770 ( Agnes Water). The boat ride is shorter from 1770 and therefore, why we choose to leave from here instead. The Bundaberg Lady Musgrave Experience does have a pontoon option, along with Diving and the Reef Sleep ( Sleeping overnight on the Reef). This should help you choose which town you would like to depart from.
Either way you will be snorkelling the Lady Musgrave Island Reef and your chance to swim with Turtles, Rays, Small and larger Fish, Admire the coral reef and check out the Island.

Thanks for your support in watching todays video and don’t forget to subscribe.

  • That underwater footage is great!

What camera did you use to film it?

  • Great advice Chris about keeping your mouth shut when looking up, I guess a hat and sunglasses wouldn't go astray either 😎 😄

Excellent video with some stunning underwater shots. Turtles are such incredible creatures! Definitely looks like a trip well worth doing.

The music was perfect also I thought 👌🤩

  • Wow! That Lady Musgrave island is like a paradise. Loved the bright blue water color! And it was super cool to swim with turtles 🐢! Thanks for tagging us along!

  • Very cool underwater views! Not dissimilar to the Caribbean as far as look and feel. That coral beach was something special, as well as the blue starfish and giant clam. Wow! Very nice compilation, Chris!! 100%

  • Lady Musgrave seems to be well worth the trip! You got some amazing turtle footage. And I have never seen or even knew that blue starfish existed. So cool! Are they something that you see regularly?

No looking up with your mouth open is some great advice. Could save someone from a really unpleasant experience! 😄

  • Wow, the snorkeling looked phenomenal! And the color of that water! WOW! The sea turtles were so cute! We’ve heard of the Reef Sleep! Would be so cool to do someday.

  • Hello Aquarius Traveller Fantastic video and how lucky you were to see the Turtle and get to chance to swim with it we just want to take this opportunity to wish you and your loved ones a very Happy Christmas. May you be blessed Love and Light Sarah and Glenn

  • Great video Chris, fantastic spot for snorkeling, thanks for Sharing. We plan to visit both Lady Musgrave and Lady Elliot at some point.

  • was it just hard bits of coral or were there some shells on the beach also? That shark was cool. I so want to go travelling after seeing these videos,, and you give me enough information on what places I want to go and how to get there. Keep them coming. Im in love with shells, as I used to live in PNG. And snorkelling.
