LG Optimus 4G LTE -Review- Part 1 + I got a new camera!

In part 1 of our review of the LG Optimus, we take a look at the Android experience LG has provided with this device.

Although the phone does (like any device) have its ups and downs, I am pleased with my experience so far.
The screen is amazing, the device feels solid and I especially like all the customization options that the Optimus has.

Although, personally a 4.5 inch display is a tad to large for me, I think this is a great buy, especially with ICS around the corner.

If you haven’t already, I recommend checking out my video Unboxing of the Optimus…just head on over to my channel.

In the next video I will be putting the phone through the motions. I.E, cpu performance, gpu performance, battery life with both moderate and heavy usage, multi-tasking and more!
So stayed tuned for that one, in the mean time I’m going to have some fun reviewing apps and posting video clip and picture samples. So if you haven’t already…you should probably subscribe!

  • Does this have messaging sort of like the iphone? where you can see the conversation in one page?

  • Great video, but i prefer my Lumia 800 😉

  • Well it's choppy because the UI isn't on high priority, That's how Android Manages it's memory and resources.

  • @TheSmokingAndroid essentially wifi is suppost to work better, but i guess what i was trying to say was that it would have been nice to see the speeds while using cellular data and not wifi

  • i see u hve wifi on, isnt that why the browser is slow? i cant be certain of what u say because i see ur wifi, so to me its like i cant see the cellular data working

  • good stuff man, i like the message with this video. thnx

  • Reviews good not all on one topic of the phone thats good at&t 4S but droid phones are good I guess lots of people that like droid hate iPhone cuz they just hate it cuz they have a droid but AT&T either iPhone or some crappy htc phone and I hate htc

  • @TheSmokingAndroid I guess the icons just look ugly compared to ICS icons. Also I wish I could review cell phones like you. That's my dream job.

  • Not a fan of lg's overlay skin. Love my galaxy nexus

  • @TheSmokingAndroid can you do a vid review of the Samsung exhibit 2 really want to learn about my phone

  • @TheSmokingAndroid the fingerprint reader is the reason i won't be getting a different phone for a long time. maybe once quad cores start coming out. maybe. it's so hard to go back to a regular password though. :/

  • @TheSmokingAndroid I especially like the part where motorola made this so called "futureproof" phone obsolete not 6 months after release, by releasing the Atrix 2.

There's no such thing as "futureproofing" ANY electronic device and Motorola suxs.

I liked your videos though. :/

  • @acondie13 HHHHH, apples haters gonna hate 😉

  • @TheSmokingAndroid I think he mean "applanet"

  • When I buy a NEW phone this yr how long will it take before it gets old? My android is only 2yrs and its more like 35-40 imo anyway tec is rapidly evolving like cancer its amazing and upsetting.

  • @TheSmokingAndroid yes… It`s an alternative market for android.. It use to work just find but I dont know what happened that now when I try to update apps downloaded from there It gives me that message..

Have you not heard of appplanet or Snaapz?

  • do you know how to fix the appplanet error message that says "Pare error" there is a problem parsing the package…

  • @TheSmokingAndroid oh… my bad lol. looked like a cpu meter.

  • Thanks for the vid man keep the good work
But the incoming iPhone 5 at OCTOBER, will crush all the phones 😉

  • @runey5 i know. but it should never run that high when all apps are running in the background.
