Lightweight Distros Under 900MB Bodhi Linux
In this video I will be installing Bodhi Linux 5.1, ISO download size of Bodhi is 820MB. There’s no mention on the Bodhi website in regards to it being a lightweight distro, however the iso is under 900MB so I thought it would be worth a try. It’s based on Ubuntu LTS and uses the Ubuntu Ubiquity installer and is very easy to install. Unfortunately Bodhi Linux caters to a minimal amount of software allowing the user to install the software of their choice, I find it to be an advantage to have very little applications on a fresh install, however in the case it’s not suitable for the lightweight distro series. Remember we are trying to download a complete desktop ISO under 900MB using mobile data, (Viewer Request) that’s the goal. Hope you enjoy the video.
