Linux grep command and pipe character to filter output from another command.
You can use grep to find strings in a file on a directory file names or folder names.
You can pipe the output of one command to another and you could use it with useful Linux commands such as:
ls – list
cat – print a file’s contents
awk powerful programming language to use in the command terminal or a bash script.
and many others.
