  • When are linux proponents going to realize the basic requirements of desktop users? Like work8ng Bluetooth? Like working with ntfs files? Like playing protected content, etc and on and on? I would switch to Linux if it did those but not.

  • Default Chrome browser. No thanks, I refuse to use Chrome. You can change it I know, but still.

  • Prefiero ASMI linux, xfce sin snap o flatpaks. Basada en Ubuntu 24.04, pruébala desde un USB en vivo, es muy rápida.

  • Why would I go for Linux Lite based on UBUNTU vs the Lununtu version? 🤔
I use Zorin OS 17.1 Lite (Xfce) by the way because of the visual is more pleasant

  • Linux Lite uses XOrg, which will not be a good user experience for new users

  • Zorin 17.1 OS did a much better job for with their integration of Wine, Bottles and PipeWire so Windows users will be able to keep on working with Windows software that do not have a Linux version.

  • OSS community should streamline their focus rather than creating 1000 more crappy distros and 1000 more desktop environments, if the intention is to ever compete with Windows and MacOS.
Linux fully loaded versions doesn't work without niggles, forget about Linux Lite.
Fractional scaling is crap except KDE+xorg, wayland has so manu bugs. Bluetooth is a hit or miss. No DRM supported content – Cannonical or RHEL or System76 can make it happen.

Most non-tech users don't give 2 hoots about configurability when Linux itself is so fragile. Neither do they care about philosophy or anything else. Breaking Linux install is so much easier than Windows/MacOS.
Linux fanboys lives in some utopia which does not exist.

  • I prefer Mint XFCe version, not a fan of SNAPs.

  • Don't miss the next video about how to root your iPhone! Lol Jailbreak? Really?
