  • I got a question.
I have a 1.5TB hdd and 8 gb pen drive
I divided my hdd into 2 partitions, 600gb(for linux) and 900gb (for storing files)
Can I install linux in my harddrive (600gb partition)?
like I wana plug it in any computer and boot linux from my harddrive and use it as a normal OS (Im using mint)
    Is it possible?
    If so, how?

  • Hey PulsarTECH thanks for creating this guide man. After a long time of debating I finally installed Linux Mint Cinnamon “Victoria” on my old pc (i3 3220 with 4 gigs on a single channel). For the most part it runs smoothly but I can’t get the WiFi to get working. I do have a external WiFi usb receiver at the back however it’s not recognising any WiFi networks anymore (which is strange because it did recognise and connect before I installed Linux completely) I tried to get it running via the cd provided with the receiver but idk how to start the installation wizard on Linux tho. If anyone can guide me thank you in advance man

Few edits tho balena etcher did not work and the usb I was using was into “write protected” idk why but thankfully it worked with another usb (used rufus on this one tho) and u have to disable controlled folder access on Windows for it to work
