Rather than using the installations CD or DVD to install Linux and installation server is useful. To be able to access it though we need though to have some boot media. This we can provide via PXELinux from the SYSlinux package. We will install syslinux and a tftp server and then boot a PC via PXE boot to see the installation system start.
