One more difference between Linux and Windows: (◠‿◕)
In Windows, you have a troubleshooter,
in Linux, you are the troubleshooter.
you obviously copy pasted these points from a website
this is a really bad comparison of linux and windows.
stop it man
Cyberpunk is not available on linux!? Then what have I been playing? The majority of games I download on steam run fine. The issue is when it's a multi player game with anti-cheat. Also: You can install playstation emulators if you want to play GTA for playstation 2 or playstation 3. Granted: Compared to Windows there are still titles that need to be supported. But if you're not a hardcore gamer, then it's not really that much of an issue. When I started on linux games where limited or close to non-existent. But all that has changed a great deal.
Many still prefer windows to linux for gaming. With the recent advancements of proton and wine however we can expect linux to begin eating away more at windows's marketshare of the gaming community.
It is amazing how Microsoft have copied Linux for a lot of their new looks in Windows 11.
obvious TTS. native English speaker says "taks manager", twice in a row? That ain't gonna happen 😂
KDE plasma and Cinnamon are way more popular and user friendly than gnome is. i don't understand why you said gnome is more user friendly.
i use arch btw
idk what you're doing to make the file manager "responsive" but that's not what it looks like when I make that comparison. Windows 7 blows everything I've used on Linux out of the water on performance and features. Right-click on something and more than half of the options are for one overhyped feature. Where's the cut/copy/paste options? How do I create a new text file in this folder? Why doesn't it remember that I've changed to list view 100 times already? Why can't I add a shortcut/link that points to another drive? Things you would have expected to be there 20 years ago are nowhere to be found.
I like both, but my experience has shown me that linux is not there yet for what I want. KDE plasma is a hot mess, I cba to customize xfce to my liking. I like GNOME, especially ubuntus twist but there is still the underlying "problem" that is Linux.
I've been switching back and forth because one time windows is the worst, then I use linux and linux is the worst.
I think windows will be my choice of primary OS but no OS is the best, it's a matter of preference.
I do not give a fuck is Linux is better or not then Windows. All I want from Linux and I have it is freedom, fully control of your computer and OS, no viruses, open source software and more privacy. All check. Thank you and good night.
How one can compare operating system (Linux) with pile of shit (Windows)?
If it weren't for World of Warcraft having poor performance on my PC when I use Linux, I would have thrown Windows away a long time ago.
I´m a full time Linux user (Fedora KDE) and I don´t like Windows at all. However I like the Windows 11 aesthetics. It´s very polished.
I love linux (ubuntu) and now started to build new kernel from scratch
