"Lubuntu 24.04", the only Ubuntu worth considering…?

In my opinion, being able to achieve a very nice system from Ubuntu without the ball and chain that is ‘snapd’ is a boon!
Only my view, I know, but I think I’m not flying solo in that view?
Be safe.

  • Just use Arch with gdm, it's basically Ubuntu without all the bs

  • better Debian kfce or lxqt, they implemented months ago the calamares instalation, so is very simple the instalation, doesn't have snaps nor flatpaks, but you can install it if you want

  • I was a full time Lubuntu user until they dropped 32 bit. 18.04 was very good but these days I use Mxlinux and it comes with both 32 and 64 bit.
