MAC Address Tracking & How IPv6 Address Can Share MAC Address!
How your phone/laptop is recognized in public by beacons & can be linked to your name & face. ipv6 shares your mac address with the world! Cloud based surveillance/tracking.

📁 Try Linux privacy solution I created: wipri. -w flag (optional – you can mix with other flags) automatically turns off wifi for you, after you are a few minutes away from saved networks (ie: home): http://gg6zxtreajiijztyy5g6bt5o6l3qu32nrg7eulyemlhxwwl6enk6ghad.onion/RightToPrivacy/WiPri (use Tor browser) Tested on Pinephone, laptops, tablets. Learn about this (with various custom concept disinfo flags for mac address, hostname, signal randomization) on this blog post: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/politictech/new-wipri-features-ethernet-wifi-identifier-spoof (public)
So a good solution would be to have a floating MAC? But would that also mean once the MAC changes you'd have to change your IP same time otherwise the funnel back would be easy to match? Would a kill switch firewall every time MAC is changed even exist or is that all a manual role. Great video by the way! Subbed for more! Also do you like Subway they got loads free advertising off ya in this! Haha
Do you think online banks track your mac address like this?
Great video
what if you need wifi or bluetooth when you're out in a public place with no cell reception or you dont have unlimited data?
I'm curious if changing (spoofing) MAC will affect IPv6 address
In addition I made something with improvements called WiPri. WiPri allows you to spoof your mac address mult ways (only using valid OUI's unlike most mac changing programs- valid macs are important as they help thwart certain types of tracking): by brand name to mimic Android/iPhone smartphones (static MAC held randomly set valid mac address or changing at continually changing randomized times and randomized addresses, all diff brands either static held/set or continually changing randomized times/addresses, hostname randomization generic yet completely unique, signal strength randomization for wifi tracking location confusion… and more. Download latest at https://gitlab.com/Aresesi/wipri (for all Linux devices/computers including most Pinephone operating systems).
