Mastering IP Core HLD Design From Beginner to Expert mp4

Free HLD Reference: https://ittn-017.lsst.io/#monitoring

The document outlines the VoIP infrastructure high-level design (HLD) for the Rubin Observatory summit and base sites. The chosen solution is Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and Cisco IP phones, packaged in a pre-deployed solution branded as Cisco Business Edition 6000 (BE6K) running on a VMware ESXi hypervisor. The solution is designed to meet the following requirements:
• Use standard signaling protocols such as SIP, and media protocols such as RTP/SRTP.
• Support both physical phones and virtual phones (softphone) working with the standard IPv4/IPv6 protocols.
• Provide a method for redundancy and/or high-availability of the call managers, and if feasible mobility of the services from the primary to the secondary system, and vice versa.
• Provide modularity and scalability options for their services, and allow for additional services such as videoconferencing, mailbox, paging, IVR and instant messaging if needed, provided the right licenses.
The proposed network architecture is as follows:
• The summit and base sites will each have a BE6K hypervisor with a Cisco CUBE gateway for PSTN access.
• The summit BE6K will have a Cisco ISR 4321 router for inter-site communications.
• The base BE6K will have a Cisco UCS 220 M4 server with a Cisco IP Phone 8865 + KEM for the administrative staff.
• There will be a Cisco Telepresence SX10 videoconference unit for small meeting rooms or manager offices.
• The solution will be scalable by increasing the number of call processing engines (CUCM) as virtual machines.
The solution is designed to be highly available with redundant power supplies, network links, and call processing units. It will also use security features such as IP phone authentication, TLS encryption, and strong passwords.
The solution will be monitored using SNMP, Syslog, and custom queries. Management access will be based on TACACS+, IPMI/BMC, and SSH.
