MetroPCS APN Settings 2020 | How to ADD 4G LTE APN on Metro by T-Mobile
If you are using Metro PCS or bettern known now as Metro by T-Mobile and you are not able to connect to the internet or your data is too slow or working intermittently, you may want to check the APN or Data Settings on your phone.
On your android phone, please go to: Settings (you can either slide down the notification bar and tab on the gear like icon, or just go to the apps menu and tab on the Settings APP).
Now depending on the verion of your android, you need to tab on Connections and then Mobile Network, or tab on More and then Mobile Network. Now you should see Access Point Names, and once there, hit the menu option and select Create or Add new APN
Use the following information:
Name: MetroPCS
APN: fast.t-mobile.com
Proxy: Not Required
Port: Not Required
Username: Not Required
Password: Not Required
Server: Not Required
MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
MMS proxy: leave it blank
MMS port: leave it blank
MCC: 310
MNC: 150
APN Type: default,mms, supl – here, if you are having trouble sending ore receiving picture messages on MetroPCS, then you should set this field properly and make sure you inclue mms in the apn type
Once the info is configured, saved, exit and reboot your phone, after it comes bback you should see a small icon in the uppper right hand of the corner with 4G or LTE which indicates the data is working, also try send a picture message

I have issues receiving MMS while on roaming
I went from LG Aristo 5 to the Revvl 6 pro and this phone sucksssss! Is this what you have to do if WiFi isn't working ?? I can't enough load any of my previous apps. This is suppose to be 5G as well. Uuuggghh!
Everything working on default MetroPCS setting until upgrade to Android 12. Even though this video is 2 years old…. It fixed my issue… Thank you!

Neither worked for me. I have a Samsung S21 with Metro-tmobile service. I can only make calls when I get service which is rarely. I can not receive calls at all. I was told by metro I don’t have 5g service in my area. Well, let’s say I don’t. Shouldn’t I still connect to 4g? Please tell me what I need to do.

Does anyone know why it doesn't save on my wife's phone? Been trying to change the APN, but it doesn't save it even after we click on save after the changes are made. We turn off/on the phone and look at the APN settings and NOTHING has been saved???!! What is going on???

MetroPCS data speeds are crap since the merger with T-Mobile. if you're on MetroPCS and you want to get usable data speeds your best bet is to go into the play store and download 4G switcher and switch your network to wcdma only

Hi, there is a small typo in the side text for option #2 4:22 – should be fast.metropcs.com (without the "t-" as shown on the phone. Let me know if you have any troble setting them up!
