Start learning cybersecurity with CBT Nuggets. https://courses.cbt.gg/security
In this video, Jeremy Cioara covers how you can quickly and easily create standard access lists for your Cisco routers. He also explains what access lists are used for and their syntax. He further shows you step-by-step how you can create these lists in a variety of ways and how you can apply them to your router.
After watching this video, you will know all about standard access lists. This includes how to use them to either permit or deny an IP address (or a set of addresses) from passing into or out of your Cisco router. Jeremy further describes in detail the syntax of these lists.
He also stresses the importance of implied denials and the ways in which you need to structure your lists because of them. He additionally describes how you can name the lists either with numbers or alphanumeric names and explains why the latter is far better.
Finally, he describes how you can apply the lists to either inbound or outbound traffic.

I feel like I'm in 1st grade, when I was a sponge. Great stuff!
Your training videos are excellent. Your delivery and knowledge makes every topic very easy to learn. If possible, please post a video on VRF's vs VRF Lite. I understand vrf lite but need to get more info on VRF in general. Thanx!
What mask are the first two access list statments? does it allow that IP regardless of the subnet mask?
Thanks. But why not a micro nugget on the basics of ACL???
