I purchased a #HiFive Unmatched to learn about #RISC-V, and build a desktop PC that I could use to explore the software development landscape and the packages available in Ubuntu under RISC-V. This first video captures my stumbling and bumbling and documents some of the rough edges of just getting things up and running. In future videos, I hope to begin digging into what packages are available and what “must have” missing packages can be built.
