Modernizing your Red Hat OpenStack Platform’s operational
Traditionally, Red Hat OpenStack Platform has involved deploying the control plane services either on dedicated bare metal nodes or in VMs running on a Red Hat Virtualization cluster. While this pattern has been very successful for our customers, we have been working on an additional devops-focused method. We will describe our future vision of converging OpenStack’s control plane onto Kubernetes to pursue goals of increased hardware utilization and a more flexible approach to deploy, manage, and scale the control plane services. Our aim is to empower OpenStack customers by bridging to a more cloud-native future.
